"This is a transformative project for Lake Forest," said Mayor George Pandaleon at the groundbreaking ceremony on April 6. "It is the largest capital investment in our recreational assets in decades. There are so many young children and families who will benefit from the project for years to come, including the many new families who have moved to Lake Forest in the last few years. Our residents expect the best, and we are excited to deliver."
